Surveys

To improve your school life we are making a survey to suggest ideas to the school master.

First, we want to ask you some things about everything like the games we could do in the school with all the pupils:

Many people ask us those questions so this survey will answer to the people who ask themselves like us:

Now we would like to know if you want to change something for the lunch at school:

Women teams of our high school, J.Zobel, have participated in the Regional Riding Championship.

The three teams, have sold cakes to pay for the training sessions.

The high school of Francois and Diamant have also participated to the competition, which tookk place from 2pm to 5pm on Friday 13th at the Centre Equestre in Diamant.

That is the Francois’ team who won the first place and therefore the travel in France to participate in The Pony Games.

SEXUAL HEALTH AT SCHOOL !

From 19th to 23rd of March 2018 a midwife came to school to the amphitheater.

She spoke about sexuality, emotions and risks.

This intervention took two hours. During this time we talked about situations which could be dangerous, protections, emotions and what we think about those different situations.

We asked different people what they thought about it. Their answers were :

-« Yeah it was very interesting ».

-« We could ask all the questions that we always wanted to ask ».

-« I’ve learnt a lot of interesting things ».

-« When does the midwife comeback ?  »

We are sure that everyone was excited about this intervention , despite the embarrassment of some people , everything went well . It was very useful .

AND DON’T FORGET ,

PROTECT YOURSELF !

A HIGHLY COLORFUL EVENT: THE CULTURAL HERITAGE WEEK

This week, a really important event took place in Joseph Zobel High School : Cultural Heritage  Week. Indeed, between the 12th and the 16th of March, the whole high school mobilized itself to highlight Martinique culture.

During this period, many conferences about the Caribbean area and its culture were presented at the amphitheather to several classes. For the grand finale, some students and some staff members took part in a show on the last day of the week from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The high school choir and the bèlè dancers animated the day, with the help of Mr. MARIE-SAINTE. Traditionnal folk songs and dances were perfomed and, at the end, there was a parade with the students who had come to school with traditionnal clothes on. Many pictures of the different couples were taken by a young photographer.

Most of the students enjoyed this week and especially the last day. We can’t wait for the next Cultural Heritage Week of Joseph Zobel and are very happy to celebrate this event in order to preserve our culture!
