THE FLOODS OF MONDAY, APRIL 16th !

Last Monday,  heavy rains fell on Martinique. Hopefully, LPO Joseph Zobel was not touched by the floods because it’s located on a hill. But were we aware of what was going on elsewhere? At La Jetée High school, Le François, people were evacuated because the water level was high, rivers were out of bed, people were in danger. Cars were immobilized and it’s incredible, for the first time in a long time (very long time), hail fell in the afternoon in Martinique! Is snow the next step ? Who knows ?

In sum, everyone was very surprised by these events, hopefully, on the next day the waters had come down and everything went back to normal.
